The Past
While training for the Lord’s service at Ambassador Baptist College it was evident that the Lord’s hand was on Brother Richard. He was named the recipient of the prestigious Hand Revival Ministries Scholarship given to the student showing the greatest promise in Evangelism and he was chosen by the faculty to preach in the baccalaureate service.
From this promising beginning, the Lord has continued to bless Determined Ministries. Since graduating in May of 1996 the Lord has opened doors for Richard to conduct over 1,100 multi-day, local church revivals, in 45 states and 16 countries. The Lord has used Richard’s Bible-filled “preaching of the cross” to convict thousands of their need for salvation.
The Present
2025 is the twenty-first straight year in which the Lord has allowed Determined Ministries to schedule over 40 revivals. The Lord has also bountifully blessed in that the Harpers have seen people come to Christ in almost every meeting so far this year.
In August of 2012, the Harpers followed the Lord’s leading and relocated Determined Ministries to King, North Carolina. Since the move we have witnessed a tremendous expansion of our ministry and we look forward to continuing our ministry from our new location for many years to come!”
The Future
The 2026 schedule is full and is one of the busiest years ever for Determined Ministries. 2027 is already over 50% full. If you are interested in scheduling a meeting for 2026 ( We will always try to help a church if we can) or 2027, please let us know as soon as you can! The desire of Determined Ministries is to serve the Lord while serving fundamental Pastors in their local churches.
